We are a few months away from our next reunion. Plans are being made and all the details are still unknown, but we wanted to give you some basic information so that you could begin planning.

We could not get rooms at Hood College this time. They have new management and it just didn’t work. However, Jim Bruner did find accommodations at the Church of the Brethren in their conference center and we think it will be a very good place to be. The Church of the Brethren is known as “a quiet place to get things done.” They offer hotel-style rooms with private baths and dorm-style lodging with shared baths. This allows you do choose whichever you prefer. The rooms run from $40 per night for dorm-style rooms, $50 and $60 per night for sleeping rooms with a private bath, to $70 per night for efficiencies with a private bath, kitchenette, sleeping and sitting areas. Linens, pillows and blankets are provided. Buildings are handicap accessible with elevators in each building and handicap restrooms. We’ll give you more information on the rooms later. 

We are planning on 4 meals during the weekend; dinner Friday evening, breakfast and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning. All other meals will be on your own. This is being done because many people like to go see sights during the day on Saturday. This way, there will be no need to be concerned about getting back in time for lunch. Three of the meals will be planned at the conference location and they can accommodate vegetarians with advance notice. We are working toward having Saturday dinner at Schifferstadt.

There will be a silent auction held Saturday evening. We are not sure of the location at this time whether it will be at the conference center or Schifferstadt. But, we do want you to know it is being planned, so bring your auction items!!!

We are working on reunion shirts but haven’t nailed these down so far.
